Snakes

It was a dark night with the moon sparklying brightly in the sky filled with billions of star's that looked like fireflies.

They lay in a opening surrounded by many trees starring up into the night sky.

"Doesn't the sky look lovely tonight Shiro?" asked a girl with light blue hair with aqua tips and purple eyes.

"Yes it does Misaki," said Shiro turning to look at his younger sister.

Misaki was still looking up at the beautiful sky and Shiro couldn't help but smile as he watched his sister admire the sky. She then looked at her brother and returned the smile. Then suddenly there was a rustling noise coming from a bush to Shiro's right. Shiro and Misaki both jumped to there feet.

"Misaki get behind me!" Shiro said staring and the rustling bush. Misaki did what her brother said and moved behind him. Then out came a dark brown snake with a light brown diamond pattern on its back and was about 8 metres long. It slithered along the grass.

"What do you want snake?" Shiro asked as the snake approached.

"I'm starving and I want something to eat," hissed the snake. "You look mighty tasty, if I do say so myself," continued the snake, opening its mouth and showed it fangs. Its fangs where dripping with venom.

Shiro starting to walk back pushing Misaki back. "You aren't going to eat me," Shiro shouted at the snake.

"No?" asked the snake. "Then how about I eat you're sister?" the snake said slithering raster through the short green grass.

"Shiro what is the snake saying?" whispered Misaki in her brothers ear. All Misaki called was the hissing of the snake and her brother shouting at it. Unlike her brother, Misaki couldn't speak with animals.

"Misaki run. Get as far away as you can!" Shiro said turning his head slightly but kept his eyes on the approaching snake.

"B-But I can't just leave you Shiro!" Misaki said grabbing her brothers arm.

"Okay but what even happens Shiro, always know that I love you," said Misaki giving her brother a light hug.

"I love you too sis." And with that Misaki was gone, disappearing into the forest.

"Awww too bad. I wanted dessert to go with my meal," the snake hissed. The snake was still slithering towards Shiro. He was still backing away too. The snake launged at Shiro.
